Smart money is the money held by the sharpest, most proven traders, ranked by our trader-scoring model as Smart Money Levels 1 to 4. The table shows how much is in each game, its top level, and how much of it sits on one side. Which side it backs is in Trade Finder.
What stands out
- Most smart money: Steelers vs. Saints, the first kickoff, has $22,886 from Level 4 money, 100% one side, spread across the moneyline, the total and two player props. That is more than every other Sunday game combined.
- Level 4 traders are in three games: Steelers vs. Saints, Chiefs vs. Seahawks ($3,882 from three traders on the spread, 100% one side) and Giants vs. Texans ($1,293 on the spread).
- Only split game: Giants vs. Texans, where the two ranked traders on the spread are 84% one side. Every other game with smart money is 100% one side.

- Most traded Sunday games: Bengals vs. Ravens (about 2.6 million contracts) and Chiefs vs. Seahawks (about 1.8 million).
How to use smart money on game day
- Check close to kickoff. Open Trade Finder and pick Next 24h on Saturday, or Live once games start.
- Start with conviction. 100% means all of the smart money agrees; a split means the edge, if any, is thin.
- Compare their entry with the price now. If the price has already moved past their entry, you're getting a worse deal than they did.
- Look past the moneyline. Spreads, totals and player props often draw smart money before the game line does. Our trade examples have come from all three.
- Use limit orders. NFL touchdown props charge no fee on resting orders; game lines charge makers a quarter of the taker fee.
