Live Edge Scanner
The Kalshi Scanner
A free, live Kalshi scanner that compares Kalshi's real-time prices to the de-vigged sportsbook consensus and ranks every game where the two disagree — biggest edge first. It's how you spot a mispriced side before it corrects.
How the Kalshi scanner works
Pull live prices
We read Kalshi's live bid/ask midpoint for each game market alongside the current moneyline from the sportsbook consensus.
Remove the vig
Bookmaker odds carry a built-in margin. We strip it out to get each side's fair implied probability.
Compare & rank
Kalshi's price (in cents) is an implied probability too. We line the two up and rank every market by how far apart they are.
Surface the edge
The biggest disagreements rise to the top — your shortlist of potentially mispriced sides to investigate.
Kalshi scanner FAQ
What is a Kalshi scanner?
A Kalshi scanner is a tool that monitors live prices on Kalshi and compares them against another source of truth — here, the de-vigged consensus odds from major sportsbooks — to surface markets where Kalshi is pricing an outcome differently than the wider betting market. The gaps it flags are potential mispricings, or edges.
How does The Closing Line scanner work?
We pull live Kalshi market prices (the bid/ask midpoint) and the current moneyline odds from the sportsbook consensus for the same games. We strip the bookmaker vig to get a fair probability, convert Kalshi's cents to an implied probability, and rank every market by the size of the disagreement. The biggest gaps sit at the top.
Is the Kalshi scanner free?
Yes. The scanner is free with an account — no credit card, free forever. Creating a free account also unlocks the full trading toolbox: fee, EV, Kelly, arbitrage and odds-conversion calculators.
Which sports and markets does it cover?
It currently covers the major US game-line markets that exist on both Kalshi and the sportsbooks — baseball, basketball and football head-to-head (moneyline) markets — with more added as liquidity grows.
Does a price gap guarantee profit?
No. A gap means the two markets disagree, not that you're guaranteed to win. Settlement rules can differ, lines move, and Kalshi charges a taker fee. The scanner finds candidates worth a closer look — you still have to do the work.
